James' 32 help Cavs to 12th straight win

CLEVELAND (AP) LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers keep rolling along.

James scored 32 points to lead the Cavaliers to their 12th straight win Tuesday night, a 104-97 victory over the New Jersey Nets. The win gives Cleveland the longest winning streak in the NBA this season. The Cavaliers (42-11) also have the best record in the league.

James, who was named the Eastern Conference's player of the week for the fifth time this season Monday, was 13-of-21 from the field with 11 assists and three rebounds.

Injured Kobe unsure about All-Star game

LOS ANGELES (AP) Kobe Bryant isn't sure if he'll play in this weekend's NBA All-Star game in Dallas because of his sore left ankle.

Bryant missed his second consecutive game Monday night against San Antonio, which lost to the Los Angeles Lakers 101-89. (MORE)

Anthony returns, helps Nuggets rout Mavs

DENVER (AP) Carmelo Anthony scored 19 points in his return from an ankle injury and the Denver Nuggets had their biggest win of the season, routing the Dallas Mavericks 127-91 on Tuesday night.

Anthony, the NBA's second-leading scorer, returned after missing eight consecutive games with a left ankle sprain. However, the Nuggets were without Kenyon Martin, who missed the game because of tendinitis in his left knee. (MORE)

Warriors G Ellis has sprained left knee

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) The Golden State Warriors say star guard Monta Ellis has a sprained left knee and could miss Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Ellis injured the knee late in the fourth quarter of Monday night's home loss to Dallas. The team says an MRI on Tuesday determined that the injury is mild. (MORE)

Heat snap skid at 5, rip Rockets 99-66

MIAMI (AP) Dwyane Wade took an elbow to the nose in the opening minutes, and the Miami Heat spent the rest of the night paying back the Houston Rockets.

Eager to snap a five-game losing streak, the Heat raced to their largest halftime lead of the season Tuesday night and beat short-handed Houston 99-66. (MORE)
